It’s hard to miss the work that has been occurring around the Wishart Road resident entry. Looking in front of the very obvious new retainer wall we find a new garden. It seems well established now and has survived it’s first summer. There’s more to do in this space however there has been a great start.
The dark walls of a new utility area (for storing some equipment and common area green waste) enhance the Wishart Road frontage having replaced the decaying timber easement fence and entry. The collection of the larger bins used for the common areas has been made cleaner, easier, and safer. For resident safety and convenience a new pedestrian entry and footpath has been added, while for drivers the fence alignment improves visibility down Wishart Road. Your current pedestrian key should operate the gate!
Inside the gates you can’t help but notice the fence separating the easement is slowly coming down. There’s lots of work to be done, regardless you might just begin to get a sense of what it will be like when the fence beside the roadway finally disappears.

Visibility for cars and pedestrians has also been improved by removing the plants under the large pine on the roundabout. Shorter plants will be added so it won’t look nude.
And there’s more improvements for this area in the pipeline.
